Abraham Kadymir is a New York-based entrepreneur who serves as certified senior care manager at Home Care For Adults, Inc. In recruiting and training qualified employees, Abraham Kadymir oversees a team that meets clients' full range of needs for non-medical related home services.
Services includes, Socializing, Doctor Appointments, Light Housekeeping, Meal Prep, Bathing and Dressing, Mobility Assistance… As well as setting up Adult Day Care Centers visits for more social interactions with other seniors.
Mr. Kadymir’s approach is one that employs a business-to-consumer model and involves contracted services provided to assisted living and skilled nursing facilities, as well as hospitals and independent living companies. His philosophy emphasizes continuous quality improvement and maintaining positive community relationships with those they work with, as well as providing exceptional service that exceeds expectations.
He and his colleagues initiated an outreach program to introduce Veterans and their families to this little known VA benefit that can provide up to $2,200 per month to Veterans and their spouses who need non-medical care and assistance to help them with activities of daily living in their home or chosen place of residence
Homecareforadults are one of few agency's in NY try-state area that help Veterans and their spouses to get approved and maintain the benefit without a penny out of pocket.
There are currently over 20 million Veterans and their surviving spouses nationwide who are believed could qualify for this benefit and only 8-10% of them are currently taking advantage of it. Veterans who apply on their own at a local VA Office can wait up to 3 years to receive a decision on their application.
The usual period for the application to get put together is 4-6 weeks - due to waiting on the military discharge document that must be received from the St. Louis Military Archives Office.
We than submit the application to Minnesota’s VA Fast-Track expedited application unit. At that point our applicants have a 99% percent approval and we can begin services. We will also make sure to maintain the benefit for the rest of Veterans his life.
